Where Are The Party Animals Baseball Team From?

The Party Animals baseball team is from Savannah city of Georgia. They are an exhibition baseball team competing in the Banana Ball Games.

Party Animals are currently competing in the Bananas World Tour where they play with various challenger teams from other countries. They play exhibition games against various national and international teams while having nine contradicting rules from the regular version.

The Banana Ball is a unique version of baseball founded by the Savannah Bananas owner Jesse Cole in 2016. It is a fun and fast-paced version of regular baseball.

There are four official teams affiliated with the league ever since its establishment. Savannah Bananas used to play in the Coastal Plain League and obtained three championship titles before moving to Banana Ball games exclusively.

Macon Bacon plays in the Coastal Plain League while the Gastonia Honey Hunters compete in the Atlantic League Of Professional Baseball. These teams occasionally compete with teams from other states, regions, and countries during the World Tour.

The Party Animals Baseball Team Roster

Teams like Savannah Bananas include The Party Animals, Macon Bacon, and Gastonia Honey Hunters. These four teams are the only ones competing in the Banana Ball.

The Party Animals roster has players like Bret Helton, Dylan Porter, and Joe Lytle. There are 22 players on their official depth chart for 2023.

Sean Fluke and Dalton Cornett along with Helton, Porter, and Lytle players on the starting lineup for the team. They joined the team to play for the team in the Banana Ball.

These players were previously affiliated with various NCAA and professional baseball teams. They are led by head coach Mike Vavasis and Sam Claycamp.

The Party Animals star players from the previous World Tour making their return this year are Tanner Thomas, Breland Almadova, Garett Delano, and Dalton Cornett. Thomas is a Virginia Tech Outfielder while Delano is an outfielder and right-handed pitcher from Brown University.

Almadova is a center fielder from the University of Hawaii and Cornett is a catcher from Alice Llyod College. These collegiate players are enjoying their time playing with the Bad Boys of Banana Ball.

Additionally, Joe Lytle, Lake Lialios, and Carson Goldsmith will be playing on the World tour for the first time with the team. Lytle is a Catcher and First baseman from Oklahoma State University.

Likewise, Lialios is a catcher from Pamona while Goldsmith was a MiLB catcher and relief pitcher for the Minnesota Twins. These players are paid professionally by the team and hired as free agents.

Most of them claim to join the Banana Ball teams after getting attracted by their slogan, "We Make Baseball Fun." They have been trending over social media where they are enjoying the games making wearing fun outfits. Bananaland has less strict rules to keep the fun unlimited. 

The Party Animals Coaches

The Party Animals is managed by Head Coach Mike Vavasis and Infield Coach Sam Claycamp. Vavais is a former collegiate catcher from Eckerd College in Florida.

He is also a bodybuilder that had competed in the NPC Mens Physique tournament. Vavasis is a jolly leader for the fun baseball team in Bananaland.

Similarly, Claycamp is a former infielder from the University of Dayton Athletics. He leads the infielders of the team mainly catchers and Shortstop. Coach Claycamp also runs various Coaching Courses for the athletes of Bananaland.

The Party Animals Baseball Schedule

The Party Animals Baseball Schedule reveals the next World Tour game on 25 July 2023. It will begin at 07:00 PM at Excite Ballpark, San Jose, California.

Following that, they would be playing another game at Fresno, California on 27 July 2023 at 07:00 PM at Chukchansi Park.

Below is the list of upcoming dates and locations for the upcoming Banana Ball World Tour games. It also contains the name of the baseball stadiums that will host their game.

  • Fresno, California on 27 July 2023 - Chukchansi Parl at 07:00 PM
  • Sacramento, California on 29 July 2023 - Sutter Health Park at 07:00 PM
  • Savannah, Georgia on 3 August to 5 August 2023 - Historic Grayson Stadium at 07:00 PM
  • Trenton, New Jersey on 9 August 2023 - Trenton Thunder Ballpark vs. Trenton Thunder at 07:00 PM
  • Staten Island, New York on 11 and 12 August 2023 - SIUH Community Park vs. Staten Island Ferryhawks at 07:00 PM

They have been playing in multiple states of the USA in the past six months since 17 February 2023. They are the major rivals of the Savannah Bananas.

While they are both owned by the same owner, they are separate groups that has an intense rivalry with each other since the forming of Banana Ball. The other two teams Macon Bacon and Gastonia Honey Hunters have also competed in the World Tour.

The Party Animals and Savannah Bananas has been doing numerous charitable works in Georgia from their ticket earnings.    

The Party Animals Baseball Tickets

The tickets for Party Animals Baseball games are all sold out until the end of the 2023 season. Vivid Seats priced it starting from $189 to $400 on average.

Seats for all the games are already sold until the end of the World Games based on their official schedule on the Savannah Bananas page. The games will occur in multiple cities including Savannah, Trenton, Staten Island, and others.

The final game will take place in Cooperstown, New York at the Doubleday Field at 01:00 PM in the afternoon. Before that, They will play in NBT Bank Stadium in Syracuse.

There are a few postsale listings available for the game on 14 September at NBT Bank Stadium. Guests can register their details for a chance to obtain a ticket if it becomes available before the game.

Savannah Bananas Vs Party Animals

Savannah Bananas vs Party Animals game on 24 July 2023 resulted in the loss for the latter. Bananas were tied 3 by 3 before scoring the 4th in the final innings.

The Party Animals have been playing three consecutive games with the Savannah Bananas from 21 to 23 July. With the loss from last night, they have three straight losses against the Bananas.

While there are four teams in the Savanna Ball, the World Tour usually takes place between the Bananas Vs Party Animals. They are both owned by the same owner but are different clubs with a strong sense of rivalry among themselves.

After winning three straight games from 21 to 23 July, the Bananas will be aiming to continue the streak in San Jose on 25 July. While they are both strong competitors, the Bananas have mostly turned the tables in the final inning.
